Nearly a year ago, Glock released two watches for fans of the famous handgun maker can buy, the Limited Edition GLOCK P80 40-Year Anniversary Watch and the GLOCK Precision 35th Anniversary Watch. Three days ago, they announce the release of the Glock Watch Global that is cheaper and not on a limited release.

Just like the limited edition watches, the Glock Watch Global comes in a black colored with an Orange silicone strap but for those who want it all black; it is also bundled with a black silicone strap. Other features are the sapphire glass, solar movement, full titanium, and 10 ATM water resistant.

The watch hands are luminous orange so you’ll be able to see time in low light conditions. The watch has been tortured tested to guarantee its toughness when used in the field and at the range. Overall, the Glock Watch Global looks similar in design as the GLOCK Precision 35th Anniversary Watch releases to the U.S. market, except that it is in orange and the engraving at the back shows the Glock Logo on the Atlantic Ocean and the continents around it.

If any person doubts that Glock produces watches, you can always tell that the Glock Watch Global contains design elements inspired by Glock pistols. These are the nDLC coating on both the watch and the mesh band; the serrations on the case that emulates the pistol slide; and rough texture on the silicone band that is similar to the pistol frame.

Back to the watch straps, the matte black mesh band with pressed clasp closing whilst the orange silicone band has pin buckle closing. With two straps included in the orange case, which is similar to the case for the Glock dummy rounds, the wearer can change straps depending on their mood.

With the smaller packaging (the limited edition ones come in Glock pistol cases and with challenge coins) and just the straps, the Glock Watch Global is also at a lower price at US$299.00 at the Glock store. There is no need to rush as it is not a limited run, but you might want to be one of the first owners.
