The 60th All Japan Model Hobby Show is now in the past and for the airsoft community, the most common observation is that Tokyo Marui has officially accepted Lithium Polymer (LiPo) as a power source for its new AEGs such as the unveiled P90 Plus and the soon to be released URG-I 11.5-inch Black and MP5SD6 NGRS.

We have already made our report based on the initial information that we got during the event itself, but in case we missed some meaty details then today we post the information that were sent to us by Tokyo Marui to help clear up things up and we can all look forward to more LiPo and hopefully Li-Ion-ready new generation AEGs and AES that the company has in the pipeline.

TOKYO MARUI P90+ AEG

• Using the Safety Bag when the MS-Li-Po Battery is charged, in storage mode, stored or transported, has the effect of reducing the spread of fire by reducing the intensity of the flames in the event of the battery catching fire. As based on the product data sheets we received, it cannot be determined if the upcoming NGRS and the P90+ would be ready for the holiday season. If there is definite release date, the company will usually announce it four or three weeks ahead and that means the item is in full production. This way, the company does not disappoint customers if a product nearing release gets delayed.

Also on display during the trade event are the previously announced and already released products such as the VSR-ONE, MP5A5, SAA .45 Artillery 5 ½ Inch Model Revolver, and the MTD red dot sight.
