The 3rd day of the IWA Outdoor Classics 2023 is the busiest day of the revamped schedule since it is a Saturday where more people are off work and allocated their weekend to attending the trade event. Whilst the level of foot traffic is still below pre-Covid-19 pandemic levels, it’s getting there.

The day started at the press room for us as members of the media covering the event filed their reports as well as fueled themselves up with breakfast for a long day. We have already posted photos of most of the airsoft section yesterday and today we roamed the other halls to see the various gear, accessories, and optics for to get the photos you want to look at.

It was also time for us to start taking more videos of the new and upcoming offerings from airsoft companies. LCT Airsoft was the first company for the day where Benita Lin talked about the new AEG versions of their hot selling items as well as the C32 Utility Buttstock Replacement Tool designed to make it changing the stock of LCT Airsoft AEGs almost hassle-free.

From there, we moved to another Taiwan-based airsoft company, Vega Force Company where Ryan talked about the new BCM Air AEGs that are equipped with the Gate Electronics Aster MOSFETs, the M249 gas blowbacks, the famous Carl Gustaf M3 MAAWS and will also be introducing their own APS Stechkin gas blowback automatic pistol with a non-working prototype on display at the event.

We finally get to talk to Firefield, one of our solid partners that we haven’t met at a trade event before since they became a partner in the middle of the Covid pandemic. With most of the world now open for travel and events, it is nice to see them. We talked to Gergana who discussed their plans of more involvement in airsoft since the Firefield brand carries quality optics at affordable prices and can also be used on real guns.

It as the turn of Leszek to present the products on display at Gunfire, and they have a lengthy booth that almost covers the width of Hall 5. There are various accessories that can be used with AEGs and other airsoft gun types. He also focused on the Specna Arms FLEX AEG series, which is made up of affordable AEGs and are said to be very good beginner guns as well as base guns for custom airsoft guns.

ACETech is a on a roll in terms of their dominance in airsoft trace market with their patented Bifrost tech that enables multi-colour tracer effect and various tracer options for airsoft players to choose from including those for the airsoft shotguns. They also produce electronic target systems that can be used in  arcades. Another interesting product they have in the pipeline is the Spawner loading system for the 40mm gas shell which can be loaded up pretty quick with this system.

Max Lai greeted us the RedWolf Airsoft/RWA booth and showed the Agency Arms and Battle Arms Development. Also, they are releasing new products under license from Ronin Tactics, which is their latest licensed brand addition to their line-up. Also presented was the Guns Modify Gas Magazine for AR-style gas blowbacks which can be loaded up with BBs pretty quickly through a new system which does not exactly require a speedloader.

We went to G&G where Ryan showed us the latest ARP9 3 version, FAR series with a 9mm and 5.56mm-style version, the compact TGM R5 ETU AEG, SGR-556, and their MGCR gas blowback series.

Our work ended with Tao of Modify Tech where they have updated products such as the Steyr Elite based on the famous CS rifle, Steyr Scout, the OTs-26 GBB SMG, XTC Duty Series of AEGs, and their cover barrel suppressor.

Before we called it a day, RedWolf Airsoft/RWA hosted a beer get together at their booth and at that point, most members of the community and industry at the IWA Outdoor Classics 2023 can be found at one place. Day 3 ended at 1800H.

We were already tired after a long day but we spent the time with a long and chatty dinner with NLAirsoft, Titan Power, and Border Wars. We almost lost track of time and we all decided that we need to retire for the evening by 2300H.
