The question amongst the regulars of the IWA Outdoor Classics is if there will be an IWA Outdoor Classics 2022. The chances are high that it will take place as European countries are slowly emerging from the Covid-19 lockdowns as their more and more of their populations are getting vaccinated.

The trade event is something that the Airsoft industry and community look forward to as it is also their largest gathering too. The organisers of the trade event, following up on their successful IWA Studio Edition have announced the IWA Live Talks as part of their preparations for IWA Outdoor Classics 2022.

The IWA Live Talks will start on the 24th of June and will then every last Thursday of each month at 1600H (CET). This will feature suppliers, retailers, wholesalers, and other interested parties.

In a press release, Rebecca Schönfelder, Exhibition Director IWA Outdoor Classics, NürnbergMesse said, “After the success of the IWA Studio Edition, I am very pleased to be able to keep up the momentum in the form of the IWA Live Talks. The new digital format gives exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to actively engage in dialogue, so they can continue sharing knowledge at other times during the year. Each new IWA Live Talk will cover a different theme, generating a sense of anticipation for IWA Outdoor Classics 2022. I can hardly wait until the real thing is happening again.”

The sessions will take place via Zoom and interested participants can register at the IWA website at no cost.

The first episode will begin with a talk by Jan Hüffmeier, Managing Director of agency GT Outdoors, and it is about the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic on the marketing strategies of companies in the hunting industry, and possible responses. Also, the value of digital platforms in the current environment will also be discussed. This will then be followed up with industry expert Ralph Wilhelm and Jens Tigges of Outdoor Marketing International GmbH who will focus on trends in sights and barrel length.

Before the IWA 2022, the organisers will be hosting the first edition of the Hubana – Hunting Experience Days which will be held at the Lembeck Castle in Dorsten in September.

The IWA Outdoor Classics 2022 will be held in Nuremberg on the 3rd to the 6th of March 2022 and for this edition, it will be held from Thursday to Sunday instead of Friday to Monday as done in the previous editions.
