One of the accessories for Haley Strategic’s Thorax Plate Carrier is the Triple Rifle Magazine Placard (TRMP) that has been developed in cooperation with Onward Research. From its release, the collaboration continued to develop more versions with the release of new TRMPs that can be used with also with the Crye Precision plate carriers such as the Crye Precision Plate Carriers JPC 2.0, AVS, SPC, and JPC R Series.

It has also been designed to work with plate carriers from other makers using the 1” ITW Nexus female buckles. Compatible plate carriers are the Spiritus Systems (LV119 Covert and LV119 OVERT), Ferro Concepts (FCPC v5 and Slickster), Velocity Systems (Scarab LT), Shaw Concepts (ARC v2), and Defense Mechanisms (Mission Essential Plate Carrier). In the past year the development team has trialed prototypes of the TRMP and Accessory MOLLE Panel with SOF operators.

We have been enthusiastic about the products being introduced by Haley Strategic, that while these are geared towards real world applications, Travis Haley is one of the more prominent endorsers of airsoft for cross training with real firearms, validating what the airsoft community has been telling the real steel community. Over the years, Travis Haley and those he has worked with such as Chris Costa and Garand Thumb  have been such friendly faces to the airsoft community that overtime the crossover between the two communities, especially in the U.S. have been smoothened with more and more real steel shooters using airsoft for training safely.

Airsofters can use the TRMPs with either the real deal Thorax Plate Carriers from Haley Strategic and also the compatible authentic carriers or if on a budget, the replicas of these plate carriers some of which are licensed for use in airsoft.

Haley Strategic and Onward Research have been developing the new TRMP and TRMP accessories for well over a year. With the help of SOCOM operators the TRMP has been designed as a modular placard that has the ability to scale to any mission. The TRMP comes in two versions currently (TRMP and TRMP-C). The TRMP-C is compatible with the Crye Precision JPC 2.0, AVS, SPC, and JPC R Series of plate carriers. The standard TRMP is compatible with the Thorax plate carrier or any industry standard plate carrier utilizing the 1” ITW buckle. With the addition of the AMP you can turn either the TRMP or TRMP-C elastic front into a field of MOLLE to mount pouches or EUDs (End User Devices).
