Surprised? It looks like LCT Airsoft wants to give contestants more time to produce their entries this time. The Taiwan-based airsoft company just announced that the 4th iteration of their Shoot Your LCT Fever Video Contest is now on instead of a November announcement.

A total of US$10,000 cash prize is up for grabs. In the 3rd Shoot Your LCT Fever, it was a winner take all but for the 4th Shoot Your LCT Fever, the US$10,000 will be divided into four awards. The Best Video award gets US$5,500 while the Best Creative, Best Story, and Best Team will get US$1,500 each. The big prize got smaller but at least there will be more who will be able to get a bite of the prize money.

The main criteria in producing the video is of course the use LCT Airsoft guns in the videos as well as preference for accessories they make. For products that have a purpose in the video and not made by LCT Airsoft are allowed, provided that the names and logos are not visible in the video entries.

MARKING  STANDARD

1. Filming: composition, scene, lens, editing, special effects, music
2. Others: clothing, accessories, promotion of milsim/war game, or performance of LCT brand characteristics
3. LCT products must be used for guns and accessories. Others such as scopes, gun slings, bipods and other products that are not produced by LCT are not restricted, and obvious signs of brands other than LCT are not allowed to be shown. If there’s any non-LCT product shown or used in the film, the final score might be affected..

SELECTION PROCESS

1. Scoring detail

A. The review team from LCT, account for 80%
B. The number of likes and shares of LCT Facebook (English) & VK accounts, plus the number of participants’ personal YOUTUBE channel views (statistics count until February.6th  2023), account for 20%.
C. The Best film is the film which has the highest score. Three more works will be selected as following awards: Best Creative Award, Best Story Award, and Best Team Award.

2.  LCT has the right to announce no prizes or rewards were given if none achieve the rules.
3.  All selected film will be published on LCT official website, Facebook, and Instagram. Winners will be informed by e-mail.

FILM CONTENT

1.  Video length limit: no less than 3 minutes.
2.  Video resolution/format: minimum 1920x1080 (Full HD), mp4 format, horizontal shooting. Vertical shooting and non-mp4 format videos are not accepted.
3.  Presenting style: Unlimited, such as plots, advertisements, Music Video, etc., individual and group shootings are not restricted. Emphasizing the characteristics of the protagonist of the LCT, and presenting according with the theme of the competition.
4.  Each entry is limited to one piece. If participating in the name of a team, the representative information should be attached, and the rights and obligations will be exercised by the representative.

Do you already have an idea on what to submit, then let the cameras roll! If not, there is enough time to make the storyboard, put the crew together and product the film/video. The deadline for submission of entries is on the January 31, 2023 with the winner announced on February 9. That’s over six months to allow you to the production in your own sweet time.
