Gungho Cowboy

The Philippine Airsoft Community is now circulating an online petition regarding the Bills in the Philippine Congress (patterned after the US Congress), their objections in the provisions that will affect airsoft. There are some glaring provisions that will surely make it tough for airsoft and gun owners in the Philippines.

Popular Airsoft Magazine Volume 2 Issue 3: ‘Tis the end of Summer

OptimusPrime

Summer is over. School’s are opening, time to take out and brush those cold weather  coats. Beach Holidays are over, and time to think full time about work. This year’s summer season has been very good for us, as it is a summer we would prefer to bask in ever since the last really hot summer in 2006.

Airsoft and Gun Owners up in "Arms" in the Philippines

Gungho Cowboy

“AN insecure government is afraid of an armed citizenry.” This is the battle cry of licenced gun owners in the Philippines who are reeling from a proposed law in the Philippine Congress which will limit further the ownership of guns. Included here is that even airsoft guns, in whatever form are to be classified as real firearms.

Multicam Pattern for US Army Soldiers in Afghanistan?

FPS Race: Zombie Solution?

Anonymous

(Highly controversial and not even resolved issue this time. What's your take on this?) Every game and sport has its cheaters, in airsoft we have zombies. These players were hit and should’ve been out of the game, but they persist; dead men still walking (and shooting), hence the name. Zombie-ism is highly contagious. When someone encounters a zombie and loses, that player will get frustrated and on the next rounds might zombie too. A zombie’s teammates can also be infected, when they see him cheat and get away with it without repercussions then they too might start zombie-ing.

On Cheating and Zombies

Brahma

Most of the time, we think of cheating as despicable. Cheating is what lazy people do. It’s the easy way out. Calling someone a cheater is rarely a compliment, and being cheated is never a good thing. Some may justify it, others proudly proclaim it, and others will deny their cheating vigorously, but it’s a common activity.

The Hakkotsu Makers

Brahma

Hakkotsu is a Japanese word for skeleton, a reference to death. Paradoxically however, P.R.T.D.’s use of “hakkotsu” as a symbol is to remind us of the terrible consequences in using lethal weaponry, which, more often than not, leads to death.
