Crysis Remastered

For video gamers before, the ultimate test for their gaming rigs is that if these could play Crysis smoothly. The game is so taxing on resources, that those with high-end rigs such as Alienware can play the game at optimal settings. Developed by German games developer Crytek, which also developed the original Far Cry, Crysis is a first person shooter game released in 2007  in which the player as Nomad is equipped with a technologically advanced armor suit called “nanosuit” which gives him/her enhanced physical strength, speed, defense, and cloaking abilities to fight against alien invaders called Ceph and North Korean soldiers.

Just yesterday, Crytek announced that a remastered Crysis Trilogy is set to be released in Fall 2021. This follows after the successful release of Crysis Remastered last year. This includes Crysis 2. Released in 2011 and takes place in New York where a Alcatraz, a U.S. Marine, uses the Nanosuit 2 to undergo missions and eventually wipes out the Ceph in the city.  Crysis 3 which is released in 2013 is also set in New York City which is now encased in a nanodome and Prophet is back on a mission of revenge against CELL which built the nanodome.

With the remastered Trilogy, Crysis is easily handled at optimal settings by the new generation PCs and consoles, including the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the Nintendo Switch, with the last one not exactly a powerful game console.

Gamers will be able to purchase the trilogy package and for those who already have Crysis Remastered, they can purchase Crysis 2 and Crysis 3. Press release right below the trailer video:
