Blog: Debunking the Tokyo Marui Myth

Gungho Cowboy

Blog entry of Hunter at Air-soft [co.ccAirsoftica regarding the myth of Marui guns having a longer range even at lower fps (feet per second). He explains that it is not possible for Marui guns to out range higher fps airsoft guns given all things are equal --- every component of the airsoft gun is in good condition. An informative entry for newbies who are cautioned by Hunter not to fall for "marketing" ploys of companies touting fantastic ranges of their products.

Please keep in mind that we are not talking about “effective range”, which is synonymous with “accuracy”, nor will we discuss the longevity of an airsoft gun!
