Time to book your plane tickets and make your hotel reservations if you want to find out what Japanese hobby makers will be unveiling in one of the biggest hobby shows in the world, the 59th All Japan Model Hobby Show. The event is set for the 28th to the 29th of September 2019.

Organised by the Japan Plastic Model Industrial Cooperative Association, the trade event showcases products from some of the big names in the hobby industry such as Bandai, TomyTech, and Tamiya. But for airsoft players, what they are more interested in is what the biggest name in airsoft, Tokyo Marui, will be putting on display at this event.

Last year, the Japanese airsoft company unveiled the Tokyo Marui MK18 Mod 1 Next Generation Recoil and Blowback AEG, Hi-Capa 5.1 AEP with EBB, HK45 AEP, and two upcoming products with prototypes. If there will be another Biohazard product, we expect it to be revealed before hand at the Tokyo Games Show 2019 which will take place earlier, 12-15 September 201 as Tokyo Marui supports the efforts of its main video game partner, CAPCOM, to showcase their Biohazard/Resident Evil titles at this event.

Tokyo Marui partnered with TomyTec for the “Little Armory” series which is comprised of 1/12 scale assembly kits with the latest being based on the Marui M870 Wood Stock Type Gas Shotgun. We expect this to be on display at the event as well as the maintenance tool kits in cooperation with God Hand which will be at the event with its own booth.

As always, the event is held at the Tokyo Big Sight in the Ariake Minami district of Tokyo Waterfront City. The doors will open for trade visitors on Friday, the 27th and the public can enter on the 28th (Saturday) and 29th (Sunday). We’ll post more information if Tokyo Marui makes some announcements on what visitors can expect at their booth prior to the event.
