We have been receiving enquiries on the outcome of the 13th Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards since the voting closed in January. However, we don’t answer such enquiries such as who/what won in what category until the awarding day itself.

The tradition of the awarding at the Airsoft Players’ Choice Awards is during the Airsoft Meetup at the IWA Outdoor Classics in Nuremberg, Germany and for this year, the big trade event which sees a big representation of the airsoft industry will take place on the 2nd to the 5th of March 2023.

Unfortunately, the Airsoft Meetup will not take place this year. As such, we will continue with the Virtual Awarding Ceremony which first took place in 2021 when it is not feasible to have the Airsoft Meetup due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The Virtual Awarding Ceremony will take place on 15th of April 2023 at 1100 BST (GMT+1). 26 awards presenters for the 26 categories will be revealing the winners via livestream on the Popular Airsoft YouTube Channel.  It is a fun event in which presenters break the news in the best/funniest way they can and for the awards winners to accept their awards.

It takes longer to prepare for the awards as we need to coordinate the presenters and awardees from different locations and timezones. Thus, the waiting time from the closing the voting period to the virtual awarding ceremony is longer as compared to the awarding ceremony at Airsoft Meetup during the IWA Outdoor Classics.

As for the lucky winners of the Raffle prizes of the awards, it will be announced on the 20th of March 2023.
