According to Wikipedia, the real steel The Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (SIG)-Sauer P226 is a full-sized, service type pistol originally chambered for 9 mm Luger. Its design is based on the venerable SIG-Sauer P220.
This latest release uses gas blowback mechanism and ultra-accurate hop up. The Glock 17, also known as the G17, was a product of the 80's and was the pistol of choice for the Austrian Army. It was later adopted by the Miami Police Department in '87, and the trend carried on with the NYPD using it as a service pistol in '89.
