Well, this thing's a beast really and for fans of Barrett Sniper Rifles, here's a quick firing test of the upcoming Barrett M107 from SOCOM Gear and posted by MadBull Airsoft. This is a shell-ejecting, CO2-powered airsoft rifle. Just see those massive shells coming out of the ejection port which for those who do some action videos, would be great for props. Since this is the final test, this might just go into commercial production very soon.

Team Blacksheep gives us a video preview of their upgrade project on an Echo1 Troy M4 AEG. They used the Madbull Airsoft Gemtech T2 RAS Kit and and did a tightbore barrel upgrade to improve FPS and of course, the look (with some bits from Strike Industries also included)... "We had an old used Echo1 Troy M4 that was used for CQB and a loaner gun and we wanted to do something with it but now spend a ton of money. So we thought about it and came up with getting a new tightbore barrel and RIS kit.

For those who do their own external upgrades using MadBull Airsoft products with Echo1 airsoft guns as base guns, they can follow this howto --- installing the MadBull Airsoft Daniel Defense M4 RIS II on an an Echo1 AEG. Update from SpecShop.pl as they have new MadBull Airsoft products in stock including the fully-licensed Knight's Armament QDC Suppressors and the Strike Industries Checkmate Compensator. Other products are upgrade and maintenance items such as the Ultimate Hop-Up Unit and the wrenches from PWS and Daniel Defense.
The teaser photos of the SOCOM Gear Kel-Tec PLR-16 would make you believe that it is a rifle or an SMG but in really, the PLR-16 is a pistol made by Kel-Tec. The real deal Kel-Tec PLR-16 (Pistol, Long Range) is a semi-automatic pistol that can take in 5.56 STANAG magazines. We don't know if the the SOCOM Gear version will just be semi only. But we'll know soon when it gets released, including pricing.
