The Red Pill Took Its Toll At Octozone

OptimusPrime

Unfortunately, I wasn't as fast as Neo to dodge the bbs. But it sure was a blast. The skirmish site is really for quick and fast reaction and nerves of steel --- guaranteed to make you tense upon stepping into the dead zone. Entering The Matrix would make you wish you had taken the Blue Pill as Morpheus said..."the story ends there. You wake in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe."

But all the players took the Red Pill, which symbolizes risk and adventure (and much more according to the Matrix philosophy). They all took a gamble and everyone won. None lost, and everyone gained. The fast and furious pace of the Close Quarter Battles (CQBs) would make you cringe under the heavy hail of bbs and the howls of players calling their hits. I myself got my share of bleeders. Everything was unpredictable, the Red Pill really took effect in our systems.

And there were the Black Mambas, all black, all menacing, all effective. They worked efficiently as a team that even Neo and Trinity wouldn't last 30 minutes battling them all. We salute this group for being a great opfor and being game to all those scenarios we implemented, corny or not

As for the rest of players, newbies and lonewolves alike, we would like to thank you for making this mini-event worthwhile. We hope all of you enjoyed the mini-event and look forward to the next ones.

Our big big thanks to Sirs Fred and Patrick Soza, who like Andy and Larry Wachowski, worked hard to make this event a worthwhile one. We wish you all the luck in carrying out more events at Octozone. The lounge area of Octozone was cozy with a billiards table, TV, and a DVD player playing all those movies full of blazing guns such as the Matrix and Mission Impossible III. Your place is very much fitting for those call center teams looking for a place for team building sessions. Hopefully you gain more clients and Madame Lara's team would be your first client.

The Octozone offers you much much more than a fantastic CQB games, you gain more friends, more skills, and valuable lessons in Close Quarters Combat. The furiousness of the games there would surely make you on your toes all the time. I myself would call it the "Ultimate Kill House" guaranteed to make you scream under the din of bbs and clacking of AEGs.

For 100 pesos (US$2.30/£1.15) worth of fun, it's such a steal. Better mark that place on your airsoft maps.
