This TangoDown Light Portal Front Sight allows one to mount a weaponlight just below it without both being an obstruction to each other... "The FFA-02 allows a weapon light to mount on a carbine where it should… forward on the 12:00 rail. The road block in the past was where to mount a light without blocking the front sight, or placing the light in a less-than-optimum position on the weapon. Problem solved- we combined the two into one tough package.

An aerospace grade aluminum frame features an adjustable M16/M4-style front sight post that co-witnesses to your rear BUIS. Designed to be used in conjunction with the SureFiretm  XC-1 pistol light, the FFA-02 delivers just enough light in the lightest possible package. Hand-forward shooting position allows for easy & positive activation of the XC-1.

A Type III hard coat matte black anodize finish protects the FFA for years of hard duty. Quick and easy mounting to any MIL-STD 1913 rail. Note: FFA-02 is for use with low-profile gas block barrels only. Does not work with standard barrel-mounted M16/M4 fixed front sights.
