Operation Matrix II, World In Conflict event is being promoted by Evike.com and will be held on the 1st of December 2007... "Operation Matrix is a series of Airsoft gaming events organized by Airsoft players. Lets go back in time, relive history, hang out and have some fun with our Airsoft!" The venue will be at the Lenix Airsoft Field, Phelan, CA.  Registration is US$25.00.

"Story: The year is 1984 with the Warsaw Pact on the brink of collapse, the Soviet Union decides on a bold strategy of blackmail; unless the United Nations agrees to support the faltering Communist economy, the Red Army will invade Western Europe. The UN ignores the ultimatum and the Soviets make good on their threat, assaulting NATO positions. However, in order to keep America from intervening with the REFORGER convoys, which in the event of war were to reinforce Europe, the Soviets open a second front by invading America, by hiding inside disguised freighters.

This operation is based on the historical event: Fulda Gap 1982 / The Warsaw pact invades Western Europe. Russian and Warsaw pact forces have begun an invasion through the Fulda Gap. Nato sends what forces it can to delay or stall the Soviet offensive.

Uniforms:

• Force 1 - Russian and Warsaw pact: Desert Camo, OD Green or Russian Camo. (NO DIGITAL CAMO PATTERN)
• Force 2 - NATO: U.S. Woodland, British DPM, and Flectarn only. (NO DIGITAL OR MODERN CAMO ALLOWED)

Magazine:

• Each player is allowed one hi-cap and unlimited mid-cap magazine.
• SAW gunners with a SAW weapon are allowed box magazines.

FAQ

• What is the maximum gun velocity?
  
  • 400 FPS for AEG.
  • 500 FPS for Sniper / Single fire.
  • "Buffer" tolerated is 2~5%
  • All FPS measurement based on 0.20g bb.
• If you are under 18: If you are a minor, be sure to bring a guardian to sign your waiver. You will be treated just like as anyone else, like an adult. We aren't babysitters, and we will remove players who cannot follow the rules.

• Grenades have a 10ft "death circle" from WHERE IT STOPS.
• Rockets have a 15ft circle from FIRST IMPACT.
• More grenade and rocket rules will be announced at briefing to keep everything simple.
