The body is sturdily constructed with metal parts including the receiver, receiver cover, barrel assembly, selector lever, trigger assembly, and the magazine catch. The AK has the advantage of a large stock and a high capacity magazine that can hold up to 600 rounds. The AK's additional features include sling attachment points, adjustable rear sight, and a blowback system.
