This is new --- a milsim event posted at the Filipino Airsoft Forums with a setting that seems to have been taken from a fantasy movie: TEAM BUNGO in cooperation with Airsoft Brotherhood Alliance (ABA) presents: GOD SAVE THE QUEEN: “OILFIELDS” October 6, 2007. This will be held in Camp Olivares, in Paranaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. This Big Event will be televised and Celebrities will join the event. A fellowship night will follow soon after the game with bands and free beers. Swell, and we're in the UK. These Filipinos are really having fun playing airsoft.

Now,  on with the scenario:

IVALICE….

For over two centuries, the vast fertile lands in the heart of this vast continent were ruled by the noble Arian dynasty. With vast oil resources situated at the center of the continent the Kingdom of Ivalice prospered with the noble rule of King Durant IV, descendent of the Arian dynasty placing Ivalice’s economic and military superiority over the other kingdoms.

However, it was man’s doom to forget… Amidst all the wealth and pleasures, the ruling family of Ivalice has lost their ways and sank into corruption and depravity even neglecting the basic needs of citizens. With a strong military to back the royal family, King Durant IV has a solid grip over the rule of all of Ivalice.

For over 20 years King Durant IV ruled continent, then as fate would dictate…. King Durant IV was assassinated. Without any successor to the throne, the queen assumed absolute power over the Kingdom of Ivalice It was in these days of unrest that the small nation of Torah (Oilers) that is situated at the center of the continent in which the oilfields are located, the primary source of Ivalice’s economic superiority rose up, took up arms against the kingdom and declared its independency to which they do not acknowledge the rule of the queen.

As the Queen of Ivalice prepares for a counter attack on the insurgent nation of Torah, The arch nemesis of Ivalice, the Azrael kingdom declared war against the kingdom of Ivalice. Azrael also led by a queen took the advantage on the confusion over the uprising of Torah and wants to take over the whole continent and take control of the oilfields.

The shadow of war looms over the distance….

Camp Olivares is a new site complete with amenities (2 swimming pools) 10 badminton courts and a stadium (the stadium will be a the staging area)

A six hectare enclosed battlefield with trenches fox holes, bunkers and towers etc.

Each army will be led by a queen. (a Viva Hotbabe!)

This Big Event will be televised and Celebrities will join the event. A fellowship night will follow soon after the game with bands and free beers

Game fee: Php300 (includes Lunch, Unlimited Beer, and Lechon roast at the fellowship night.)
