We just caught this video in our feeds this morning even if the day of observance has passed by, we're still posting this Memorial Day Tribute from Airsoft Utah... "I would like to put my thoughts into video this Memorial Day and express to you my deepest heartfelt gratitude and thankfulness to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. I would like to share with you the respect that I have for this country and for our fallen fighting men and women that I am honored to have been protected by and for all they have done to preserve innocent life and freedom.

This Memorial Day I am remembering the sacrifice that so many of those have made and laid to rest-THEIR lives in efforts in keeping us safe and keeping our rights to freedom that were bestowed upon us as a blessed people in this country.

I memorialize my father, both of my grandfathers and many others in my family that have fought for this country as well. Luckily my grandfathers along with my father were able to live past the conflicts and wars that have claimed so many and were able to pass away peacefully. I am confident that they would have laid down their lives for what they believed in and to keep us free.

My father, Major Garry Baxter Green, was an identical twin of another military service man in the Air Force, Larry Green, my uncle. My father was a 27 year veteran serving the Army. With tours including The Vietnam war for two years of his life dodging many deadly experiences including a roadside mine that could have claimed his life and a shrapnel wound to his face with a Purple Heart medal he refused commenting that so many men were dying out there and he didn't feel deserving of it. He also had many great and miraculous experiences in the line of duty.

He had posts serving in Germany and Korea. He was active retired till 2004. He was a cancer survivor from the effects of agent orange in Vietnam. He died from health complications in June 2012. I honor and memorialize my father, and all my service family which also includes all who have made the ultimate sacrifice. May God bless them and this country."
