After minor tweaks to the first shots testing was completed and the first truly viable polymer magazines for the AR platform were shipping. The original PMAG made its debut, increasing both durability and reliability over everything that had come before, it was also designed to be easier to disassemble for cleaning. One mold was used for both the windowed and non-windowed variants so the window’s profile can be seen even on the non-window version.
